Tell Me Something Fun: October Events in Tampa

My mother always said that October 15th brings true fall to Tampa and it cannot arrive fast enoughthis year. While we patiently wait and sweat for the autumn weather to reach those of us this far south, we also welcome the beginning of the holiday season with the spookiest holiday of them all: Halloween! Fun for ghouls and boils of all ages, Halloween is a time to trade our everyday visages for colorful and fantastic visions of ourselves that rarely see the light of day. You can let out your inner most monster or angel, police officer or prison inmate, pirate or ninja all in the name of good clean fun. So take advantage while you can to celebrate and have heedless fun while basking in the last warm glow of the careless summer sun. Soon your days will be filled with turkeys and family, gifts and parties, obligations and cherished traditions. So stop and smell the retreat of summer while recognizing the onslaught of fall. Enjoy yourself and have a safe and happy October.
